One of the Seed Library’s values is reciprocity – we encourage our community to donate seeds and plants. While we have processes in place to ensure the donated and shared seeds and plants are correctly labelled, there may be instances where they have been mislabelled. We will let our community know here when we are made aware of these instances and we apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

June 2026

In the December 2025/January 2026 seed mailout:

• Spreading Cinquefoil (Potentilla supina) was likely Tall Wood Beauty (Drymocallis arguta).
• Eastern Figwort (Scrophularia marilandica) was likely Lance-Leaved Figwort (Scrophularia lanceolata).

• Straw-Coloured Flatsedge (Cyperus strigosus) was actually Perennial Yellow Flatsedge (Cyperus esculentus).

In the December 2024/January 2025 seed mailout:

• Narrow-Leaved Vervain (Verbena simplex) and Hoary Vervain (Verbena stricta) was actually Blue Vervain (Verbena hastata). 
• Upland White Goldenrod (Solidago ptarmicoides) was actually White Panicled Aster (Symphyotrichum lanceolatum). 
• Purple Joe-Pye Weed (Eutrochium purpureum) was actually Spotted Joe-Pye Weed (Eutrochium maculatum).
• Water Avens (Geum rivale) was actually Rough Avens (Geum laciniatum).

Blue Giant-Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) seeds were cross-pollinated with Korean Mint (Agastache rugosa).
