You have participated in seed exchanges, volunteered for the Library, heard rumours of this groundswell effort to change the way we relate to the land; you may have dipped your toe in the Butterflyway world, or gotten carried away with A Cultivated Art or Fletcher Wildlife Garden sales; you have seen your kids get so excited about caterpillars and Insect Days at the Experimental Farm…and you want to know a little more about native plants & what’s happening in town.
We want to meet you & let you in on what we’re up to!
Nous voulons vous rencontrer et vous faire part de nos activités! (Nous accueillons chaleureusement nos amis et voisins francophones et nous nous réjouissons de partager notre premier événement à Gatineau!)
The Board of the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library warmly welcomes you to an evening of sharing our dreams and plans for the Library – and our path to build interconnected habitat one plant, one person at a time.
Your two newest directors, Bon Seguin (Fundraising) and Sylvie Hanes (Volunteer Care), will host the evening, inviting stories and projects from:
– Founder & Chair Mélanie Ouellette about where we came from and a vision;
– Vice-Chair CJ Benjamin about a strategy to get there, and what we’re doing to conserve rare and significant plants;
…and the rest of the passionate folks who have built the Library into what you see today!
- When: Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 8-9pm ET
